Halloween is fast approaching. Pumpkins are on every front porch of the neighborhood and colorful candy wrappers line the walls of your local supermarket. As everything turns black and orange, darkness will fill homes and local cinemas as the old and new horror classics hack and slash into people’s minds.

There are many horror movies that hit the theaters, including the kid friendly Goosebumps starring Jack Black, and Guillermo Del Toro’s Crimson Peak. But one of the most talked about movies coming out this fall is the reboot of Frankenstein, called Victor Frankenstein, starring Daniel Radcliffe (A.k.a Harry Potter) and James Mcavoy (A.k.a Dr. Xavier from the last two X-men movies).

Victor Frankenstein is told in the perspective of Igor, played by Daniel Radcliff, as a young Frankenstein, played by James Mcavoy, as he makes an amazing  discovery, that comes back to haunt him.

“It’s about their journey and how they spur each other towards greater and possibly more terrifying things,” said Radcliffe to Express magazine.

The film is directed by noticeable television director Paul McGuigan, mostly known from the critical and cult British hit Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch. McGuigan is also bringing along fellow Sherlock cast mates, Andrew Scott, Louise Brealey, Mark Gatiss.

Andrew Scott, who played Moriarty in Sherlock, is playing a cop who is investigating a disappearance from a local morgue, that Victor might have something to do with, named Roderick Turning.

“I absolutely love this film,” said Scott to Express. “Paul (McGuigan) and I work really good together, and it is always cool a such iconic character such as the one I am playing.”

The Film also stars Game Of Thrones star Charles Dance, who played Tywin Lannister.
Dance was also in Imitation Game with Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch and Dance was also in last years Dracula untold.

Victor Frankenstein is a part of the reboot of the 1930’s Universal monster movie, which started with last years Dracula Untold which starred Luke Evans.

The next installment of the reboot will be the 2016 reboot of the classic film series The Mummy, which will head to theaters in 2017 with producer of such things like the Star Trek reboot and Amazing Spider Man franchise Alex Kurtzman.

The reboot will also consist of remakes The Creature of the Black Lagoon, The Invisible Man, and The Wolfman.
