District 202 to again serve free meals to all students up to age 18
September 8, 2020
Plainfield – District 202 will again offer free meals to all children to age 18 through December 31, 2020 as it did last spring.
The district offered free meals during the summer and returned to paid, free and reduced meal service when school started on August 31, 2020
A change in federal regulations this week allowed the district to return to the free food service effectively immediately.
Families do not have to have children enrolled in District 202 to get the free food.
A week’s worth of breakfast and lunch items will be available for pick up from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursdays at these nine sites:
- Grand Prairie Elementary School
- Lakewood Falls Elementary School
- Lincoln Elementary School
- Drauden Point Middle School
- Timber Ridge Middle School
- Plainfield High School-Central Campus
- Plainfield East High School
- Plainfield North High School
- Plainfield South High School
