Burritos, nachos, tacos and fried ice cream.  Burrito Parrilla Mexicana located in Naperville offers a variety of delicious Mexican cuisines. Overall, Burrito Parrilla is a high-quality restaurant with good service, delicious food and a friendly, inviting atmosphere. 

Burrito Parrilla is very family-friendly and casual. This restaurant is more slow paced than Chiptole, because it is more of a sit-down place, though when indoor dining was available, the food is served quickly. 

Indoor dining has just opened back up and the restaurant does deliver as well as allow for pick-up orders. When dining indoors there are plenty of seating available.  

The crunchy chips and salsa taste freshly made and are hard to stop eating once you dive in. Additionally, the salsa was not too spicy though there are spicier salsa options available upon request. 

The three taco platter ($11.59) comes with two sides of rice, along with chips and salsa ($4.59) if ordered as an appetizer. Each good-sized taco has chicken and lettuce on it, and the two mesh well together. They also serve steak, carnitas, lengua, chorizo, grilled veggie and beef tacos, along with a two taco platter ($8.79) instead of three. 

The rich and filling grilled chicken burrito ($8.59) with lettuce is also delicious. As garnishes guacamole, cheese and sour cream can also be added. 

To finish off with dessert, their churros ($3.99) are appetizing too. Four churros as well dipping sauce is included. They leave a sweet delectable taste to satisfy one’s sweet tooth. Fried ice cream ($3.99) is another dessert option.

 Drive-thru service tends to take quite a bit of time to prepare because all food is made fresh to order. Burrito also does DoorDash and GrubHub. 

For the most part, service is good, though a bit slower when ordering to go. Order pick up varies depending on the time of day, as well as how busy the restaurant is, but normally takes around ten minutes from order to window. Employees are very kind and helpful when ordering take out.

To go orders are packaged in a plastic tray with the entree in the center and each side of the tray holds sides.  Throw away spoons, forks, knives and napkins are also provided. On a recent visit, the temperature of the food was still warm by the time it was ready to eat and the order was accurate.

The restaurant is taking strict Covid-19 precautions. Employees properly wear masks and gloves and are required to disinfect and clean between customers. 

All in all, Burrito Parrilla Mexicana, is highly recommended and it is definitely a favorite local favorite Mexican restaurant.  The quality of food is superb along with the generous portions customers receive for the cost.
