Review: Cheesecake Store
October 1, 2015
From cheesecake served in mason jars to hand made paninis Steve Buresh’s Cheesecake store has it. He specializes in gourmet cheesecake that have a wide range of flavors. He recently started serving Panini sandwiches and different soups. Steve Buresh started cooking cheesecake for his friends and family in his house in Romeoville. They encouraged him to start a business out of it so he bought a shop in Plainfield and that’s where he is today.
You order your food at the counter and they bring it right out to your table. It is very convenient. Along with that the price is very fair. You can get a sandwich, chips, a drink, and a jar of cheesecake for 14 dollars.
I ordered the French onion soup first. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. The melted cheese and the bread on top mixed perfectly with the soup. They are soon coming out with more soup options created by their newly hired chef.
For an entrée I ordered the Hammy Cheesy. This is a ham and cheese panini served with chips and a pickle. The cheese was melted tastefully over the ham. They have a wide variety of other sandwiches like the Pizza Panini.
The cheesecake is out of this world. I ordered the peanut butter cup cheesecake but that’s just one of the many flavors they have to offer. They have flavors like vanilla, turtle, pumpkin spice, birthday cake and so many more. They are made fresh every day and served in mason jars. You can take your mason jar home and wash it and if you bring it back they give you a coupon for 50 cents off your next jar of cheesecake.
The Cheesecake Store is located at 14210 U.S. 30, Plainfield, IL right next to the Family Video. Their hours are Mon- Fri 11am- 8pm Sat 11am- 3pm and closed on Sunday. It gives you a home cooking kitchen feel when you’re in there and you will find me there at least once a month enjoying a new flavor of cheesecake. I would love to try all of their flavors.
